SAMSUNG LEEUM MUSEUM, ITAEWON SEOUL
Nov 19th, 2007 by Minsookgriffin
As the weather becomes colder and dreary, I suggest a visit to some of the museums in Seoul. If you appreciate Korean traditional and modern Art, kill two birds with one stone by visiting Samsung Leeum Museum near Itaewon, Seoul.
Though the art exhibition is interesting enough, I have a greater appreciation for the actual architectural design of the buidling. Well reknown architects from Europe, Koolhaus, Botta and Nouvel were commissioned to design it. Each architect was responsible for different part of the building and as a result, each is very much distinctive and reflective of the designer.
